Fusionizer vs. Fusion Pack

 

   DEFINITIONS:
Fusion Pack - All-in-one bundle including A-official patches 4.08 through 4.10.1; B-one of the two major mods pack, either HSFX or UP; and C-the version of Fusionizer (see below) that is right for the included package.
Fusionizer - Add on for one of the major mod packs, HSFX and UP. There are different versions of Fusionizer for the different mod packs. Fzr3.3 is for HSFX5, Fzr4 is for UP3.

 

   Fusion Pack Versions

 

   Fusion HSFX 067 (aka FP067)
Based on HSFX 5
Includes the following:
- Official Patches 4.08 through 4.10.1
- HSFX 5.0
- HSFX 5.0.1 Hotfix
- Fusionizer 3.3
FP067 can be installed over *any* versions of IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 4.07 or higher, including 4.09b1m and previously modded games.

Fusion UP 068 (aka FP068) - NOT YET RELEASED - See Fusionizer 4
Based on UP3 Final (yet unreleased)
Will include official patches, UP3, Fzr4

Fusion Light 069 (aka FP069)
Based on the stock game, this version isn't 'properly' a Fusion Pack because it's not an all-in-one bundle like the other FP's.
Not being based on an existing mods pack, FP069 is technically a mods pack of its own, a light mods pack aimed at on-line playing on stock servers. It looks and sounds as good as UP3 if not better, but it's compatible with stock servers and it doesn't have stuff that that don't need on a stock server. Perfect for a secondary install side by side with UP.

   Fusionizer Versions

 

    Fusionizer 3.3 - Add-on for HSFX5.
Install 1-Game, 2-all the official patches in the right order, 3-HSFX5, 4-Fusionizer3.3. No need to install the hotfix 5.0.1, it will be installed automatically with the Fusionizer, but don't worry if you have already installed it, that's not going to be a problem.
Fzr3.3 includes many cockpit repaints, effects, fixes and tweaks.

Fusionizer 4 - Add-on for UP3
Fzr4 is currently in beta while we wait for UP3 Final to be released.
The current Fusionizer Beta includes all the Ultrapack RC updates, so you can install UP3 RC and then directly Fusionizer4, that will automatically upgrade your game to the latest Ultrapack RC.
As new UltraPack RC updates are released, so are new Fusionizer updates that include the latest RC.
In case you miss an update or two, you can always grab the latest version of the whole fusionizer, and install it right on top of the old one.
Fzr4 includes cockpit repaints, new cockpits, effects, fix and tweakes.
